Shade Out DrugsMain Road School celebrated "Red Ribbon Week," during the week of October 23 - 27. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to show a commitment to living a safe, healthy, and drug-free life. It was designed to create an awareness to the problems related to the use of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs. On Monday, the students wore red to show their support for a drug free school. Tuesday was Tye-Dye day to say "Peace out to drugs!" Wednesday was sunglasses day to take a stand to "Shade out Drugs!" Thursday was Hawaiian day to remind the students to "Lei off drugs!" and on Friday each student received a brag tag for bragging that Main Road School is drug free. Additional pictures for the week can be found on the Photo Gallery ta at the top of the Main Road web page.
